Maggie Banks tossed a game of a lifetime on Thursday in the 12-0 win over Cedar Shoals.
Banks turned in a perfect game performance, allowing no hits, runs or walks in the complete-game performance. She also fanned five in the win.
The Vikings, behind RBIs from Elvie Armour, Banks, Alexis Burce and Gracie Ausborn, scored five runs in the second inning to blow the game open and stroll to the shutout win.
East Hall hammered 10 hits on the day, led by Armour, Calli Hardison and Ansley Ivey each ripped two hits. The Vikings' defense in the field also was flawless with no errors.

Lauren Rule drove in four runs as Cherokee Bluff scored 9 combined runs in the fourth and fifth innings to run-rule Lumpkin County on Thursday at home, 11-3.
Rule was 2-for-4 at the play. Emma Anzaldi also was 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
The Indians grabbed the lead for the first time, 2-1, in the third inning, but the Bears' six-run fifth inning blew the game open, 8-2. Lumpkin added a run in the fifth, and Bluff crossed the plate three times in the bottom of the inning to invoke the run-rule (up 10 runs after five innings.)
Izzy Herren gave up two runs on seven hits and three strikeouts in five innings of work.
