While the Oakwood City millage rate will stay the same for the upcoming fiscal year, the tax digest has increased in value.
That equates to a tax increase, as the city is not fully rolling back the millage rate, according to City Manager B.R. White. It remains 4.174 mills.
Three public hearings are scheduled for this month and next. The first is next week, on June 23 at 5 p.m. The July meetings will be held at 6 p.m. on July 6 and July 12. All meetings will be at Oakwood City Hall.
