ICYMI Highlights: Gainesville boys, Bluff girls win Hall County Track Championships

FLOWERY BRANCH — The Gainesville boys and Cherokee Bluff girls captured the Hall County Track and Field Championships on Friday.

Gainesville led from nearly start to finish as the Red Elephants pulled away with 152 points to 141 for second place Flowery Branch.

On the girl's side, the Lady Bears rallied from a big first-day deficit to blow past Gainesville and the field with 225 points. The Lady Red Elephants finished second with 140 points and Flowery Branch was third with 79 points. North Hall took fourth with 72 points and Chestatee fifth at 55.
