Wednesday's baseball scedule was wiped out for northeast Georgia area teams. Most of those games were pushed to Thursday as some key region battles are on tap.
No.6 Flowery Branch and No. 4 Jefferson will resume their three-game series at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex with the Falcons looking to win the key series. They knocked off the Dragons 4-2 on Monday. The series will move back to Jefferson on Friday.
Several games scheduled for Wednesday were played on Tuesday to beat the forecasted rain.
