CARTERSVILLE — Class 4A No. 2-ranked Flowery Branch routed Pepperell 12-1 in five innings on Tuesday at the Lakepoint Complex.
Nick Linkowski, Kade Smallwood, Baxley O'Brien all had two hits for the Falcons (10-2) who pushed their win streak to four straight. Connor Larson, Connor Edwards, JB Bell, and Kaleb Freeman all had one hit for Flowery Branch.
Mason Compton got the win going the distance allowing just the one run while striking out five.
The Falcons next will play host to Class A Private No. 9 Prince Avenue Christian (10-3) on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex.
