Girls basketball: Buford girls win Region 8-6A title

BUFORD — The Buford girls rolled to the Region 8-6A championship with a 62-31 win over Habersham Central on Saturday at Buford City Arena. 

Ava Grace Watson led the Lady Wolves (24-0) with 19 points, while Ashyia Willis chipped in 11. 

Buford will be a No. 1 seed in the Class 6A tournament, which begins on Tuesday.
