The following school delays and closures have been announced for Monday, Feb. 8 due to possible icy conditions.
- Habersham County Schools will operate on a three-hour delay.
- North Georgia Technical College will be delayed until 10 a.m. for all campuses.
- Rabun County Schools will hold a virtual learning day for students.
- Towns County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay.
- The Blairsville campus of Union County Schools will be open on schedule. All students who travel to Blairsville from Suches and the entire Woody Gap School will use online learning for the day.
