Officials with Syfan Logistics have extended the deadline for making donations at Turbo Truck Center for those impacted in Friday's massive tornado in Mayfield, Kentucky. The plan is to accept donations until 6 p.m. or even later to get the truck as full as possible.
All donations will be transported to the Pilgrim's facility in Mayfield, where they will be distributed to people who have lost their homes or had their homes severely damaged.

As of 1 p.m., the tractor trailer stationed at Turbo Truck Center at 2037 Old Candler Road in Gainesville was about 25% filled with donations for Kentucky tornado victims. Community donations will be accepted until 6 p.m. Monday.

As Syfan Logistics of Gainesville has done in the past when tragedy has struck, the trucking company has already sent some relief to those impacted by a devastating tornado in Mayfield, Kentucky.
On Sunday, Syfan Logistics sent a tractor-trailer load of bottled water, donated by J&J Foods of Gainesville to the town. The water is being delivered this morning.
