A child was killed in an accident on I-85 northbound Wednesday evening. The accident happened around 4 p.m. just past Hamilton Mill Rd. and all lanes were blocked for many hours as the investigation continued.
The Gwinnett County Police Department did confirm that the fatality involved a child, but no other information was given at that time as the investigation is ongoing.
