Football: Lakeview falls to No. 6 Fellowship

GAINESVILLE — By the end of the first 12 minutes of play, No. 6 Fellowship Christian was in control en route to a 45-0 win over Lakeview Academy at Lions Stadium. 

Fellowship Christian (5-1, 2-0 Region 6-A Private) dominated in every phase of the game, holding the Lions (1-4, 0-1 Region 6-A Private) to just 98 total yards of offense while piling up 303 total yards.

The Paladins scored four touchdowns in the final 8 minutes of the first quarter to take a 28-0 advantage, including an eight-yard score from Nick Persiano with 8 seconds remaining.  

They tacked on another touchdown late in the second quarter -- a 15-yard run from Garrett Wagner -- to go up, 35-0, at the half. Fellowship added one score in the third and one in the fourth. 

Landon Hanes led the Lions with 12 carries for 41 yards.
