Hoschton woman arrested for string of thefts in Jackson and Gwinnett counties

A string of thefts in Jackson and surrounding counties has finally ended with the arrest of a Hoschton woman. For the past three months, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has been using social media to ask for the public’s help in identifying a female woman, along with her gray Infiniti vehicle, caught on camera multiple times stealing items from various locations around the county, most often from the front porches of people’s homes.  The woman was also suspected of thefts that occurred in Gwinnett County, as well as an attempted break-in at a local clubhouse.

With both Gwinnett County Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on the search, the woman was finally identified as Kimberly Justine Crowe, age 34. After a search warrant was obtained for her residence, many of the stolen items were recovered.
Crowe was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary 2nd degree, misdemeanor theft by taking and possession of methamphetamine.
