A water main break along State Route 82 in Jefferson is leaving some local customers without water as it is repaired.
Northminister Estates, the Jackson County Courthouse complex and some houses along State Route 15 are affected, according to a Facebook post from the Jefferson City Fire Department. Various subdivisions on State Route 82 may experience low pressure or temporarily be out of water while crews work to isolate sections of the main.
They were unsure when the water would be restored.
The break happened on State Route 82 across from the sediment pond for the city reservoir, the old Stovall House, the post said. Crews are isolating the section of the main before making repairs, and are also waiting on response for an emergency utility locate, just before 4 p.m. Monday.
