Suwanee Police are investigating after finding an 18 year old stabbed to death at an area apartment complex Monday morning.
At about 8:50 a.m., officers responded to a person stabbed call at The Residences at McGinnis Ferry.
"When we arrived, we found an 18-year-old male, later identified as William Slade Petty, deceased from multiple stab wounds to his upper torso," said Lieutenant Robert Thompson.
Suwanee Police, Gwinnett County Police and the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office searched the surrounding area for a potential suspect; the District Attorney's Office assisted at the crime scene investigation.
"We are asking anybody that has information to give a call, let us know any information," said Thompson. "But we do not think it was random, we think it was a targeted attack against the victim."
No suspect information is available at this time.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Suwanee Police Detective Sgt. Byun at 470-360-6735, or the main line 770-945-8995.
