The Gainesville Police Department has released the names of the five men arrested following a Sunday night shooting incident at an apartment complex on Thompson Bridge Road.
At this point in the investigation, each suspect is charged with one count of felony possession of marijuana. Charges have not been levied for the property damage that happened when gunfire erupted at North Pointe Apartments. Several vehicles and one building were hit by bullets. No one was injured.
Those arrested include:
- Dwayne A Bailey, 19, Gainesville
- Jordan A Griffin, 18, Gainesville
- Dreshod Young, 22, Gainesville
- Markis K Witt, 25, Gainesville
- Leondre Sigler, 20, Stockbridge
The investigation is ongoing and other charges are likely. Other arrests are also possible, according to police.
