LCA falls in GAPPS 8-man finals

Lanier Christian Academy fell to Pinecrest Academy 44-18 in the GAPPS Division II 8-Man Football State Championship on Friday night.

The Lightning made school history this season by hosting and winning its first-ever home playoff game and earning the right to play for its first state title.

Senior Wyatt Cash and junior Gabe Jaramillo earned GAPPS All-Region honors, and seniors Andrew Perry and Isaiah Williams earned GAPPS All-State honors.

Andrew Perry will represent Lanier Christian Academy in the GAPPS Junior-Senior Bowl on December 5th.
