A Tennessee man has been arrested in Hall County for sexual exploitation of a minor, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday.

James Carl Davidson, 33, of Arlington, Tennessee, allegedly used his cell phone over a three-day period to communicate with a girl he knew to be under the age of 16, a news release said. Davidson sent graphic descriptions of sex acts he wanted to engage in with the girl, and he also requested the child send him lewd photos.

Davidson was visiting Hall County at the time, according to the preliminary investigation.

He was taken into custody Friday without incident at Hall County Sheriff’s Office after investigators obtained warrants for his arrest. Davidson was charged with six counts of electronic exploitation of a minor and three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

The case remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
