Habersham County man arrested, charged in Forsyth County stabbing

A Habersham County man has been charged with murder in connection to a fatal stabbing early Sunday morning in Forsyth County.
 
Jesus Olvera Gonzalez, 40, was detained in the driveway of a home in the 5600 block of Archer Drive in northeast Forsyth County this morning and was subsequently arrested, according to the county Sheriff's Office.
 
Forsyth County Sheriff's officials responded to the home just after 5 a.m. Sunday with the fire department to a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a male with stab wounds deceased in the residence.
 
Occupants of the home identified Gonzalez as the suspect.
 
Gonzalez was arrested and remains in the Forsyth County Jail without bond, according to the Sheriff's Office.
 
The victim's name will be withheld until next of kin is notified.
