BLUE RIDGE — East Hall pounded out 10 hits in taking an 11-1 win over Fannin County on Saturday in Region 7-3A action.
Macy Banks, Alexis Burce, Carley Cox, and Calli Hardison all had two for the Lady Vikings (9-3, 6-0 Region 7-3A) who picked up their third straight win and remained atop the region standings.
Seventh straight loss for the Lady Rebels (1-13, 0-6) who remain at the bottom of the region standings.
East Hall got going early with a run in the first off a Fannin County error. The Lady Vikings blew it open with a five-run sixth inning. Banks, Abigail Brown, and Hardison each drove in runs in the big inning.
Banks also got the win in the circle scattering two hits and allowing just one run over six innings while striking out 12.
Kaelyn Hensley took the loss for Fannin County surrendering 11 runs on ten hits in six innings.
