*White County Chamber of Commerce President Beth Truelove has graduated from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute for Organization Management.  The 96-hour program includes course instruction in nonprofit management. In addition, participants can earn credit hours toward the Certified Chamber Executive or Certified Association Executive certifications.

*Construction activity for the I-85 Widening project will require lane closures next week along the corridor in Gwinnett, Barrow, and Jackson counties beginning Sunday night. 

*Twenty-one Georgia Urology physicians - including several who practice in northeast Georgia - are on the latest list of Atlanta Magazine's Top Doctors.  They are Dr. David W. Banks who practices out of the  Cumming and Roswell offices; Dr. Mark A. Haber who practices out the Cumming and Sandy Springs offices; Dr. Joel A. Rosenfeld who practices out of the Jasper and Canton locations; and, Dr. Brent Sharpe who practices out of the Braselton and Gainesville offices.

*Information and status updates on Forsyth County zoning applications, permits, variances and other properties with proposed action can now be viewed online using an interactive map-based application on the county’s website, www.forsythco.com.

*The traffic shift onto the State Route 183/State Route 52 roundabout in Dawson County is now scheduled to take place July 8.  It was originally planned for July 1.
