Authorities to conduct fatal accident reconstruction north of Cumming Wednesday

As authorities continue to search for a suspect in a fatal hit and run incident north of Cumming, traffic specialists will be working at the scene of the crash on Wednesday.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) Traffic Specialist Unit will be working on Dahlonega Highway (SR 60) just south of Pilgrim Road reconstructing the crash that killed 27-year-old Jose D. Ramirez Labra. 

The deadly incident happened just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday, May 26. The motorcycle that hit Labra was abandoned at the scene. The driver has not been located. 

FCSO officers will begin their work at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Traffic will be impacted in the area, so motorists can expect delays.
