The Lanier Christian Academy softball team earned a berth in the GICAA state softball tournament with a 5-3 win over Victory Baptist last week.
The Lady Lightning finished second in Region 2-AA. It's the school's first-ever state playoff berth.
LCA will travel to Lyndon Academy on Tuesday for a double-header in a best of three series. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
