Christopher Osterloh, 36, Dahlonega is facing a host of charges after a SWAT standoff at a Buford home Thursday.

Gwinnett County Police Corporal Wilbert Rundles said around 12:30 PM, police were called by a woman who owns a home on Garrett Road who said a man had taken up residence in the for sale home.

Rundles said when police arrived they learned Osterloh was barricaded in the home and claimed to have weapons, that is when SWAT was called in.

Rundles said were able to make contact with Osterloh and he refused to come out. A short time later SWAT deployed a pepper spray bomb into the home and Osterloh quickly surrendered without further incident.
