The Gwinnett County Police Department said one person was killed in an accident that shut down two lanes of I-85 northbound near Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.
According to the department's Twitter account, the fatal accident happened around 6 a.m.
An investigation is underway and more information is expected to be released later in the day.
