Brenau University and the University of North Georgia are preparing for their winter commencement exercises.
Brenau will have two ceremonies on Dec. 13.
The ceremony for graduate-level candidates will be at 10 a.m. and the ceremony for undergraduate programs will be at 1:30 p.m. Both will be in Pearce Auditorium, and the keynote speaker for each will be the university’s new president, Anne A. Skleder.
Meanwhile, the University of North Georgia will host two ceremonies Dec. 14. The chair-elect of the University System Board of Regents, Sachin Shailendra, will speak at 10:00, and Alan Amling, CEO of the advisory firm Thrive and Advance LLC, will address the 2:00 ceremony.
Separate commissioning ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m. Dec. 13 for members of the Corps of Cadets entering the U.S. Army or Georgia Army National Guard as second lieutenants.
