Four superintendents from across Georgia will compete for Superintendent of the Year, including the leader of Forsyth County schools.

Jeff Bearden joined other finalists Samantha Fuhrey from Newton County schools, Noris Price from Baldwin County schools, and Mark Scott from Houston County schools to be recognized for their leadership abilities and skill sets in the community, school boards and staff.

The Georgia School Superintendent Association will announce the 2020 Georgia Superintendent of the Year during their conference in December.

This is the second consecutive year Bearden was named a finalist for the honor.
