Oakwood Police charge 18 year old in physical altercation in Sam's Club parking lot

Oakwood Police charged an 18 year old with aggravated assault after he allegedly threatened another person with a baseball bat in the parking lot of an Oakwood business over the weekend.

Sgt. Todd Templeton said Trenton Roberts confronted and yelled at a 68 year old man, who had reportedly almost hit Roberts' car in the parking lot of Sam's Club on Mundy Mill Road. Templeton said Roberts took a bat out of his vehicle when a bystander attempted to intervene on behalf of the 68 year old man.

A physical altercation ensued as law enforcement responded to the scene, Templeton said. Oakwood Police spoke with all parties involved and after reviewing surveillance video, charged Roberts' with aggravated assault due to his actions with the baseball bat.
