Health department flu shot clinics opening in northeast Georgia

The Gainesville-based District 2 Health Department has flu shots available in each of the 13 counties in the district.

You'll find a link below to a message from the office, spelling out the dates, times and places of each of the clinics.

In addition, Hall and four other counties are offering drive-through flu clinics this year:


Hall                       September 20                   8:00 am to 4:00 pm         JA Walters YMCA, 2455 Howard Rd., Gainesville

Lumpkin               September 21                   8:30 am to 4:00 pm         Lumpkin County Health Department, 60 Mechanicsville Rd., Dahlonega

Stephens              September 27                   9:00 am to 4:00 pm         The Pointe Church, 111 Fieldcrest Dr., Eastanollee

Habersham         October 1                           9:00 am to 4:00 pm         Habersham County Health Department, 185 Scoggins Dr., Demorest

Franklin                October 11                        10:00 am to 5:00 pm       Lavonia First Methodist Church, 25 Baker St., Lavonia


In addition to regular clinics and special drive-through clinics, public health staff will be administering flu vaccine at schools and several offsite clinics.
