Firefighters in Forsyth County will soon get new equipment thanks to a grant.
County CFO David Gruen presented the details to commissioners during a recent work session.
"It's in the amount of $15,561 for some particular rescue flotation devices," Gruen said.
The Fire Department will use the money to purchase 75 rapid rescuer personal floation devices and 34 standard rescue bags.
The resolution to accept the donation passed unanimously.
