Plans for 353-unit apartment complex headed back to Hall Co. Planning Comm.

By Ken Stanford Contributing Editor

Previously tabled plans for a 353-unit apartment complex in South Hall are on the agenda for this week's Hall County Planning Commission meeting.

Morningstar Investment Group, LLC, wants to rezone 43.5 acres on Spout Springs Road near Forrest Knoll Drive from AR-III (Agricultural-Residential 3) and PRD (Planned Residential Development) to Planned Residential Development.

In addition to the apartments, plans also call for "limited" commercial use for part of the tract.

The matter was tabled at the March 20 planning commission meeting at the request of the applicant.

The commission meets Monday at 5:30 at the Hall County Government Center.

Also on the agenda, as AccessWDUN previously reported, are plans for an 18-lot subdivision in North Hall at the Sardis Road-Ledan Road intersection.
