Motorists in Toccoa can expect a detour beginning Tuesday morning as crews begin some paving work on Ga. 17 Alt/Ga. 184 East Tugalo Street.
Northeast Georgia Department of Transportation spokeswoman Katie Strickland said workers will mill old asphalt and repave a section of road between Broad and North Alexander streets.
Weather-permitting, Strickland said the work should be finished by Thursday.
