*Young Harris College’s Department of Music presents its annual “Christmas at YHC” concert on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. in Glenn~McGinnis Hall on the YHC campus. Admission is $10 for adults and free for children 12 and under. YHC students, faculty and staff can also attend for free. Tickets will be available at the door.
*Forsyth County Commissioners Dennis Brown, Cindy Jones Mills and Laura Semanson have completed their continuing education requirements with the Association County Commissioners of Georgia Lifelong Learning Academy.
*Hall County administrative offices, the courts, recycling center, libraries, and community centers will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. The landfill will be closed Thursday but will re-open Friday. The animal shelter will be closed Thursday and Friday but will be open Saturday. The community centers will remain closed through the weekend. The trash compactor sites will remain open.
