A Friday afternoon fire at an apartment complex in Oakwood caused minor damage, officials said.
Nobody was injured when the fire broke out on Lanier Mill Circle around 2:40 p.m., activating the sprinkler system above a stove and cabinet, according to an email from Capt. Zach Brackett, Hall County Fire Services spokesman.
"The unit is reported to have suffered minor fire damage but a significant amount of water damage. The American Red Cross has been contacted for assistance to the three adults who were displaced as a result of this incident," said Brackett.
Firefighters haven't officially determined the cause.
