A husband and wife are victims of an apparent murder-suicide in Monroe.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports police got a call Thursday morning that Brittany Folkerts, 45, reported to her some that she had shot her husband Ronald Folkerts, 51.
As police approached Folkerts in her car at a Ford Street residence, they report she fatally shot herself.
Ronald Folkerts body was later found at a home on Glen Iris Drive.
Monroe Police tells the AJC officers had previous dealing with the husband and wife in the past.
