The Dawson County girls softball team rallied past Fannin County on Monday to qualify for the Region 7-3A tournament.
Fannin County opened the best-of-three with a 6-3 win. But the Lady Tigers fought back taking Game 2, 4-2, and then captured the series with a 7-5 victory in Game 3.
The series win earned the Lady Tigers the No. 4 seed heading into the second round of the 7-3A tournament on Wednesday. It also qualified Dawson County a spot in the Class 3A state tournament.
