OAKWOOD — The East Hall offense is almost starting to make the numbers seem mundane -- almost.
After putting up 114 points combined in its first two contests, the Vikings tacked on 60 more on Friday, dominating Johnson 60-7 in Oakwood.
There were other mind-boggling numbers in play Friday night for East Hall, including those of quarterback Austin Parker. The senior quarterback tossed six touchdown passes and threw for 307 yards -- which put him over the 1,000-yard mark in just his third contest of the campaign. In fact Parker accomplished all that before halftime on Friday.
Parker hooked up with four different teammates on scoring passes -- two each for Sedrion Morse and Amir Ellison and one apiece for Austin Brock and Mon Prather, as he completed 11 of 16 passes. He also ran in a touchdown for good measure, scoring from 18 yards. Cambren Harrison also had a touchdown run for the Vikings (2-1), opening the game with a 78-yard scoring scamper on the first play from scrimmage.
Johnson's Sam Corbett scored the Knights' touchdown.
The Knights (0-4) will take a bye before beginning region play against Flowery Branch on Sept. 22.
East Hall will look to keep rolling next week at Jackson County.
