ELLIJAY — Cole Wright threw for 294 yards and four touchdwns to lead Union County to a 56-14 blow out win over Gilmer Friday night.
Chad Buzzard had 111 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns while Logan Dyer had four catches for 82 yards for the Panthers.
Union County (1-0) never trailed in the contest.
The Panthers travel to Hayesville, N.C., next week.
