DAHLONEGA — Lakeview Academy baseball overpowered Lumpkin County 13-7, racking up 14 hits on Saturday in Dahlonega.
Sam Stewart earned the win in relief pitching 3 scoreless innings, including three strikeouts and one hit allowed.
Stewart also helped lead the Lions at the plate, going 2 for 4 with an RBI. Jordan Thomas also starred, going 3 for 4 with two RBI, while Josh Henderson was 3 for 4 with three RBI. Bailey Whitlock also went 2 for 4 with 4 RBI; Brannon Browner was 2 for 3 with a double, RBI and scored four runs; and JD Roark added two hits.
