ATLANTA — St. Pius knocked off Jefferson 4-3 Wednesday to even the two teams' Region 8-AAAA three-game series.
Jefferson (15-9, 6-5 Region 8-AAAA) led 3-0 against St. Pius starter Andrew Robertson after Justin Cole singled in a pair of runs.
But the Titans finally got to Dragons' starter Brooks Beddow in the bottom of the fourth. St. Pius scored three runs to tie the game. The Titans score one in the fourth off Will Wood that was the eventual gae-winner.
Robertson dominated the rest of the way for St. Pius holding the Dragons to just one hit over the final three innings.
Jefferson will play host to St. Pius on Thursday in the series finale.
