By AccessWDUN Staff
A 19-year-old Sugar Hill man was killed in a car crash early Friday morning near the Kennesaw State University campus, and three of his friends were injured.

The victim has been identified as Colin Ruland.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports the fatal crash happened just after 4 a.m. on the I-75 north ramp to Chastain Road.

The driver of the vehicle, 20-year-old Ethan Dowell of Suwanee, lost control of his vehicle, running off the side of the road. Authorities said the vehicle overturned and hit a tree. Ruland was ejected from the vehicle.

The newspaper reports Dowell and the other two passengers in the car, Cole Kovarchick, 20, of Demorest and Jordan Wormsby, 20, of Suwanee, sustained non-life threatening injuries.

All four of those involved in the wreck were students at KSU. The AJC said Ruland was a sophomore majoring in business.
