The Future Business Leaders of America Region Competition was held recently at Collins Hill High School in Lawrenceville, and a participant from Gainesville High School was among those advancing to state competition.
There were over 800 competitors from Hall, Gwinnett, Forsyth and Walton counties.
GHS junior Wendy Gutierrez placed fourth place for Computer Applications which qualified her to attend the State Competition March 12-14 in Athens. The Computer Applications competition included skills testing in Microsoft Applications of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
