TIGER — Rabun County football has been here before. In fact the Wildcats will make their third straight state quarterfinal appearance on Friday when they travel to take on Screven County in the Class AA bracket.
This time around, however, Rabun believes it has the right combination to unlock a path to history.
The Wildcats have never reached the state semifinals, but a tight-knit and talented senior class, led by quarterback Bailey Fisher -- who is now fifth all-time in career passing touchdowns statewide -- is determined to make the Final Four a reality.
Fisher recently talked with AccessWDUN and Friday Game Night editor Morgan Lee about just what it will take to keep their postseason drive alive, the challenge ahead at Screven and what makes this Wildcats team so special.
