A missing Jefferson man with dementia is now safe at home, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff Janis Mangum confirmed via email that 66-year-old Leroy Crane drove up to his home just before 8 a.m. Monday. Crane, who suffers from dementia and Parkinson's disease, had left his home about 2 p.m. Sunday. He was driving a 1978 red C-10 Chevrolet pickup truck.
Authorities did not say where Crane had been.
