HELEN — Luke Peavy shot a 1-under-par 71 to lead Truett-McConnell University in the Fall Georgia Mountain Invitational after 18 holes. Three TMU golfers are in the top four in the tournament, while Reinhardt leads the team standings 12 strokes ahead of the Bears.
Matt Smith sits in second in the field at 1-over 73, while Dawson Day sits two strokes back of Smith in fourth at 3-over 75. Reinhardt's Ben Dulin is in third at 2-over 74, and Reinhardt's Evans Nichols and Brewton-Parker's Michael Steflik sit in a tie for fifth with a 76.
Other notable scorers for the Bears include Weston Sapp and David Ford tied for 13th place with a 79.
