The Flowery Branch softball team extended its Region 8-AAAAA record to 2-0 with a 14-1, 3-inning victory over Clarke Central on Thursday.
Lady Falcons sophomore Alyssa Kimbrell produced 2 hits and 3 RBI and only gave up 1 hit as the winning pitcher. Junior Courtney Harris also put up 2 hits and scored 3 runs.
The Branch girls host Habersham Central at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday.
