A $1,000 reward is now being offered for anyone who has information that leads to the arrest of Jessica Fox, 28, the woman suspected of running over the legs of a Statham police officer on Saturday.

The Barrow County Sheriff's Office said Monday that the Statham Police Department had requested help with the investigation into injuries sustained by Officer Marc Lofton during a traffic stop. Barrow County Sheriff's Capt. Ryan Sears said Officer Lofton was attempting to place Fox under arrest when she shifted the vehicle into drive and sped off, dragging Officer Lofton and then running over both of his legs. The officer was hospitalized as a result of his injuries.

The vehicle in the incident was recovered on Corbin Drive in Statham.

Fox is wanted for probation violation and Sears said warrants will be issued for Fox for speeding, failure to yield, driving on a suspended license, giving false name and date of birth to law enforcement, fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement, aggravated battery on a police officer and aggravated assault on a police officer.
