Nominations are being accepted for this year's Master Craftsmen Awards, which will be presented October 19 at Featherbone Communiversity in Gainesville.
Lanier Technical College is one of the sponsors, and, according to a posting on its website, the awards seek to showcase the industry and promote to young people and the community the importance of construction in the economy while recognizing individuals who possess outstanding skills in their trade.
The deadline for nominations is September 16.
