A mechanic was taken to the hospital Saturday after he suffered burns in a boat fire at a south Hall County marina.
Hall County Fire Captain Zachary Brackett said crews were called to the Holiday Marina in Buford to the fire, but the man had already been transported when they arrived.
He said the 36-year-old, whose name has not been released, was working on the boat's engine when a flash fire broke out according to witnesses.
The man suffered first and second-degree burns on his face and was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center's Braselton campus.
