North Georgia Technical College is offering a new series of tours of places of interest and notoriety throughout northeast Georgia. The first Backyard Tour of Northeast Georgia is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 11.
The tour will include visits to the Sautee-Nacoochee Center, Northeast Georgia Folk Pottery Museum, the Hardman farm, The Gourd Place, Serenity Cellars and Yonah Mountain Vineyards.
Transportation, entrance fees, tastings and lunch at Honeybrook in Cleveland are included in the $45 registration fee. The bus departs North Georgia Technical College at the Visual Arts Building promptly at 8:30 a.m.
