Gainesville's Fair joins four more signees for UNG women's soccer

By UNG Athletics Communications

DAHLONEGA — University of North Georgia women's soccer head coach Chris Adams announced the addition of four signees to the 2016 incoming class on Wednesday, making a total of nine newcomers for the upcoming season after five student-athletes inked their National Letter of Intent on National Signing Day in February. The group of four is composed of three true freshmen and one transfer.

Included are Gainesville High graduate Breana Fair, a standout on this season's Lady Red Elephants team that won the Region 8-AAAAA title and notched the program's first state playoff win in four years.

"We continued recruiting to meet many of our needs and make upgrades in a lot of positions," Adams said. "When you look at these four additions you have a 5-foot-10 goalkeeper who has transferred from Georgia. You also have two attacking players who will fit in well with our brand of soccer and the wild card of the group is definitely Rosie Embley who comes to us from England. She is a very clever player and you see a lot of flair from her. All four are great additions to our program and will make us stronger."
