Authorities in Forsyth County said a 14-year-old girl was killed in a single vehicle accident Thursday evening.
The accident occurred around 6 p.m. in Lower Pool Park just off Buford Dam Road, according to Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputy Epifanio Rodriguez.
Rodriguez said the victim was thrown from the vehicle.
"As she was ejected, the vehicle rolled over her and she was temporarily pinned," Rodriguez said. "She was in critical condition on the scene and was transported to a local hospital and was pronounced dead at a local hospital."
Rodriguez said there were three others in the vehicle at the time of the wreck - the 19-year-old driver, an 18-year-old passenger and a 22-year-old pregnant passenger. He said the 18-year-old and the 22-year-old were critically injured.
Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved.
